AHAHA. My dad keeps a beach chair in the trunk of his car purely for this purpose. Is this not a common practice? Really? Huh.

I KNOW. Every winter there's an article in the paper about it, because some dumbshits who just moved there don't get it and get all uppity about it.

THOU SHALT NOT MOVE THE PARKING CHAIR--It took me three hours to shovel out my spot. I WILL ICE YOUR WHEELS TO THE GROUND, MUTHER EFFER.

It's like, I guess if you had three cars and were taking up all the primo spots or something on the street, I could see having your chairs moved, but honestly, I notice that people have a parking routine. even in a parking lot like in my complex, people have places where they park. No one takes my spot most days, but if there's snow all about we might shuffle around. BUT IF I CLEARED OUT MY SPOT AND PUT A CHAIR THERE WHILE I WENT TO THE STORE FOR NAPALM, IT SURE AS HELL BETTER BE THERE WHEN I GET BACK. If I clean out my spot and DON'T put a chair, then that says to me, "you can park here". Don't be bitching when you get back and find that I'm in your spot. WHERE WAS YOUR CHAIR, BUDDY!

Never seen that JB pic. I love pics of him laughing. I might have to go snag that Scottish icon, it's so funny. That comm is a great idea and I joined, but I have no inspiration yet. Loved your fic and troygirl's, will have to go read crue's. Did you see curriejean's Tosh vid yet? Fantastic.

I'm so glad I have no need of the parking spot chair. I hated winter before, but this is really the pits. Staring out at massive amounts of snow. This is not supposed to happen in N. VA.

Most winters we get only a few inches. Sometimes none. I'm right near the Potomac River. However, parts of our county are much closer to the mountains, which leads to school closings when it's perfectly clear where I live. Drives me insane. If it's raining hard here in the winter, I have to make sure the school hasn't closed.
