I've always believed that Ianto was proud of his many accomplishments. Everything he is and everything he has seems to be the result of his own hard work and cleverness. You've added a layer of "he kind of scares me sometimes," which I like.

And OMG what is the deal with your tags? I always have a moment where I think I should be putting the "right" tags on my fic and now I'm thinking maybe I've been over thinking it.

I think there's a level of Ianto that is proud of what he does, whose quest for order is a point of pride, but I sometimes wonder how much of that was acquired and when. and like all things, it can be "wrong" or bloom in "the bad way"
