So I just stirred my last cup of coffee with what I thought was my coffee spoon from this morning, but which was actually the spoon that I stirred my reheated lunch with.

yeah. I've done that (with perhaps less tuna) ... but my dad would say "it all ends up the same place."

There's coffee at work? Then why do *I* always have to make a new pot/carafe?!

Our office courtesy/protocol is to make a new pot/carafe when you take the last. In the past week I have made at least 5 pots and it was empty when I got there. GRRRRRRRR.

There never was where I worked, incidentally. Except when I worked at the Sunoco. Then it was my job to make the coffee anyway.
