Wow. That's a crossover that would never have occurred to me, but I like it. It works.

Very dreamlike, with the cherry blossoms and the quiet. That must have been a very busy year for the shinigami.

Thanks! Yeah. I wish there were more stories about what happened ot Japan during the reign of the master. ::sigh::

Thank you very much!

I suspect there's some whoniverse canon that I'd need to catch up on to fully understand this (just starting S2), but that's okay. The atmosphere stands out so ridiculously well. Like, holy-shit-I'm-in-Japan, and I don't care if I've never been there to fully confirm your descriptions, you've fooled me.

Yeah, you need to know what's happening during the part when Jack is away at the end of S1TW. They cover it in the end of DWS3. :( I think I might have failed here somehow anyway.

I'm not at all familiar with YnM, so I had to Google around a bit to get the full impact, but even so? Dang. Very nice. Beautifully done and leaves me strangely tense and waiting for the hammer to fall.

I'm from YnM fandom, not so much Torchwood, but I really enjoyed this story. Very beautiful written, and I think you capture the feel of Meifu. Wonderful.
