While they both adore the dogs, Scott and John would really love to get a cat as well. They need someone… something… some “person”… to rule the roost and help corral the dogs, since John is terrible at it and Scott just likes watching them all herd John. The argument really picked up steam once they got home, with John insisting that Scott couldn’t be trusted with cats on his own. Scott batted at the Naughty Friar Tuck award hanging around John’s neck in annoyance ( ... )

I love the combination of the 'awww'-factor and the really really funny lines in this. Seconding that it's cool to see John not playing the five year old for once. :) Nice dialogue

seriously, I just love this ship, and there are so litle fanfics, and to find good ones is even harder. but this one was so believable. Thank you.

Awww allergies suck. I would DIE if I was allergic to my puppies. I would get the shots! Take drugs! Do anything! LOL.

i know, right? I have a friend who is horribly allergic to cats, who I kinda based Scott's reactions on - she is constantly giving in to the pull of the cats and sticking her face in their fur even though she knows better! Thanks!
