- for hubby's cousin's company.  If you're at Facebook, you can become a fan.  If not, and you wonder what this is, take a look at their website.  They've been working at this for quite some time, ever since a friend of her took her Master in Industrial Design (same institute I was at) on sensual toys.  Now, I have some mixed feelings (not so ( Read more... )

Oh, slow server days are the worst. I never stick around long enough. If something takes more than 10 sec to load, I'm off to something else. Unless it's something I really need/want to see. Then I might wait, but not without grumbling about slow servers, lol. Isn't the name great, though?

Those toys actually look quite cool... XD

It sort of eliminates any of those awkward moments when someone randomly happens upon them because it's not that obvious what they are at first sight.

I asked how they'd done the product testing, she just grinned and said they had some adventurous friends. LOL But I really like the design (even though I seriously doubt I'll ever buy a set), and the nifty recharging and all that. It's a really good design. Though I do guess some of my old professors chocked on their coffe when she first presented her ideas, I don't think it was for long. This was actually something we discussed when I studied orthopaedic engineering as well, because many of our patients would only get their release through products like these, but they were usually put off by the design. Finally there's a solution!

Did you get a good batch of bread and writing?

I had trouble loading the page, too. Finally, though. The shapes are way cool. As is the clean look of the website. And the colors. We've been talking a lot about shapes in my classes this week/term...as in Christopher Alexander...and I had 25 shape sketches due in my drawing class Friday--phew.

I'm not sure I'd have the guts to present this one in front of a class though, ha. : )

I'm quite sure I wouldn't have had the guts to present this to the class. Or maybe I would. Actually, I think I might have, just to push myself and my boundaries a bit. And then I would've sighed in relief and retreatd back into safe waters...

Not familiar with Christopher Alexander, so had to google him - and he's very interesting! I need to know more. Thanks!
