I mean, in theory there's gonna be a third part. But I wrote the first part in September of 2009, so, you know, nobody hold your breath.

I came by and reread this. I still like it but I do feel like you've left Scully--unfulfilled. When are we to expect the third part?

I HAD read "Taxi Ride" before but forgot! I'm so glad Wendelah got on my case. She tells me what to read and I put on my glasses.

This is, of course, great. Are you familiar with Mustang Sally's "All the Children Are Insane?" (I hope I don't insult you by asking.) I imply no comparison--they are both merrymaking in their own way--but they make a very amusing contrasting duo. Mulder fumbling with the keys and the drunkenness.

I of course look forward to your final episode--named "Mattress," perhaps--but don't fudge on the hangover. It will be brutal.

I do love "All the Children are Insane." And, well, there's a certain sort of manic energy to them both, that I think is the hallmark of good drunken!sex!fic. Or at least that I like in it. The key-fumbling is such a cliche, but I love it, particularly as someone who can never unlock her own damn door, even when sober.

I went back and did the math on precisely how wasted Scully would be by this point in the experience (Mulder it's less clear, since we don't know how fast he was drinking or when he got to the bar), and, damn. Yeah, tomorrow's not going to be a happy one.
