Guess who just stayed up 'til 3AM* watching all the backlog of Fringe on the TiVo? That would be me and Leigh.

ALL OF THE FRINGE. ALL OF IT.

It's so easy to get caught up on a show like this...and ruin your life like that, lol. If you can get your hands on the episode Making Angels (4x11), that one's all about Astrid, and her alternate-universe autistic doppelganger, and their ~~feelings~~ about their families. SO GOOD. SO GOOD.

I mean, even if I still play "hey! I saw that X-Files episode!" as I watch it, it is pretty awesome. :)

"Making Angels" was one of my favorite eps ever. I was crying by the end, it was so well done, and how nice to finally get some background on Astrid.

I am amazed at all the different permutations of their characters these actors are having to handle, and they are handling them really well.

And ITA about Peter.

I am so impressed by all the character nuance--particularly between the amberverse versions of the blue side, and their original incarnations. It's just...so layered.

PETER. IDEK, dude. Like, I never really shipped Peter/Olivia, but I was cool with them getting together, because, you know, mushyness is good. But now, it's just so convoluted and dumb--and he's making it worse, because THERE IS NO MORE BLUE UNIVERSE, but how can he know that? Sigh.

I *adored* the Astrid-centric episode. So, so wonderful. Jasika Nicole = the best. But of course everyone in this cast is so freaking awesome that they are all the best, simultaneously.

And yeah. You're kind of dumb, Peter, even if you are being all noble.

PETER. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU. EVERYTHING, OKAY? Man, the emotional whiplash that Olivia is dealing with right now. Poor dear.

Making Angels (the Astrid episode) was so clearly "Jasika should have an episode that is ALL ABOUT HER!!! :D" and I was fine with that.

Fringe is *so* making me feel All The Feelings right now. I freaking love it so much, even though Peter is being all noble and stupid.

I have so much love for this crazy little show and its insanely good cast.

ALL THE FEELINGS. I think, like TXF, they got really lucky and hired better actors than they knew they were getting, because, Jesus fuck, everybody can act on this show.
