Very touching... I remember a few years ago when he would talk about his grandmother and how much she supported him-- how she would get out of her hospital bed, come see one of his lives, and be feeling fine the next day. I remember thinking how fondly he talked of her and remember how the fans would say "that's where he gets his crazy work ethic from." The body pillow made me smile--she sounds like a cool old lady. I'm glad he was able to say "goodbye" even if it was for only a short moment.

This next song will definitely be special and dear-- it will be his grandmother's song.

Thanks for translating this, Amaia.

it's always sad to lose someone precious

i bet his granny helped him finish those lyrics as
a parting gift

she sounds like an amazing woman - ill bet thats
where he gets his standard for women :)

This was very personal post, wonderful that he chose to share it with us.

Thank you again. And ummmm...do you think you would like to translate that earlier blog as well, the one with the strange faces? But only if you feel like it, of course. ^_^

... i dare to suppose Yohio's face is not sooo strange and i really wonder why do you say so, though for many fans Gackt and Yohio are lovely couple as far as i can judge from fanfics and web communities...

I´m sorry to upset you, but you misunderstood me. I did not mean todays blog, but the one before that where was pictures of the person with the face like from the Saw movie.

It was very personal and emotional at the same time
not many artist able to share this kind of thing, one that sounds sincere and that is one thing that I love about Gackt. Well looks like his grandmother though him very well since there are a lot of her spirit live in Gackt, I belive he also understand about it.

thank you for translating it
