i thought i had a good "one pattern fits all" password model, but then it turns out to be a real PITA typing it on the ipad... back to the drawing board!

Drudgery/time to type: proportional to length.
I'm convinced that a lot of insecure passwords are chosen just because they're quick to type. One of my friends used to use "juhb", and he'd type it in one motion.
