we have deep dish pizza here in Canada too.. though I also prefer the thin crust pizza :)

p.s. yes, American restaurants give giant portions.. the standard soft drink (pop) glass is huge and I can rarely finish it all!

I rather have more ingredients than crust :P
I can barely manage the entrees most of the time not to mention the main course!
