your description of a muffin " It most likely looks rather ugly.." is sad but true :P and yes, the overflowing crusty top is the best part!

i'm liking the cupcakes from Toast at the moment. Lemon, especially.

Me too! Toast sells good cupcakes! My favorite is the limonata and nutella :)
