Welcome to The Root Beer Federation, aka am_100. As we're just starting out, there's no theme just yet, but one should be posted some time on October 15th. In the meantime, all are welcome to post non-challenge drabbles.

Quick question. Is the community for asian music in general or just jrock?

Any sort of Asian music imaginable. From Alice nine to w-inds., DBSK to The TRAX, Andy Lau to Wang Lee Hom ... and way more besides, I just don't have a lot of personal breadth outside j-rock. And the major pimping so far's been to j-rock writers. >_> I should probably do something about that, actually.

Hell, if someone wanted to make a case for Thai or Indian artists (or something even more obscure), I'd allow that, too. ^_^

I know this might sound stupid but... If I join now, should I follow the theme of the week or is it okay for me to use some of the old theme? And we don't really have to claim anyone right?? Like if I feel like I want to use Bou of Antic Cafe for this week, then I use tetsu for the next two weeks and etc...?

Now that my brain is halfway back to functioning.... Challenges don't ever really expire - you're always welcome to use any theme you like. Or none at all, if you wish!

And no, there's no claiming or committment. You can write any person you like at any time, drop out for a couple weeks (or months), come back and write some cracked out threesome no one would have ever conceived, then write tetsuxbanana for a couple weeks and aside from calling you looney, no one would say anything. XD
