Quite avowedly, I am an atheist. I'll say this as a modestly religious person. Atheism's cool and everything but the way you have been promoting it lately is just as bad as when Christians do it. It makes other religious people uncomfortable and they feel they may be judged for being such. Having your own set of beliefs is fine and good, but each set differs from individual to individual ( ... )

Like I said, I'm not trying to force anything on anyone. Rather, I'm just trying to establish atheism as a valid belief, because I find that people don't seem to take atheism seriously, or give it any consideration. You remember in The Stranger how the magistrate cannot believe that Mersault doesn't believe in God--he doesn't think it is possible. So, I just wanted to give some reasons it is possible and reasons why people do. I don't really care what other people believe, but I really do feel like it is beneficial for a person if they consider the entire scenario and all options, like you have or Raj has, before they make a decision.

i'm just saying that's how it's been feeling in English lately. Uncomfortable city. I don't know if it's cause Ethan's there and makes you feel like there's some strength in numbers or whatever but it seems like the AH YEAH ATHEISM KICKS ASS squad.

Just realized something, that I wanted to fix. I said "as a valid belief," when atheism is actually "the lack of belief" so I have rephrase.

I want to establish atheism as something that's real and should be taken seriously and given real consderation.

its pretty tough these days to admit ur an atheist. They get a lot of criticism and are looked down upon by people of every religion. Eh, so what, believe what ya wanna believe. its like 12:15 at night right now man, so im just gonna speak. I think religion was just sumthing made so man wouldnt feel so uncomfortable with themselves. You dont believe in Karma, but i do. If you rape women, torture men, and gas hundreds of innocent people (Saddam and his sons) i believe you WILL have your day of punishment. There is no way someone can leech off of others, be an ass all their lives, and get the same result as someone who is a real philanthropist. Im gonna give u some lyrics from Gym Class Heroes, from a song called the Boomerang Theory (hopefully you'll get what it means), showing how a guy fully accepts his new bad fortune, because of how bad of a person he has been his whole life ( ... )
