Arashi Eats My Brain

For some reasons I feel the need to write something here. I guess I have this habit to pour my feelings (more like, anxiety) out so I could function. You see lately I've been feeling down. I don't know what to think about my life, and it was really dull that I could cry. Just yesterday a job offer (a rather good one) came, and now I don't know what ( Read more... )

Hello Ami-chan! ^^
*Doesn't know if you remember me or not*

From what I'm hearing I think you should go for the job regardless of what your parents think.
Working outside home will be a new experience and who knows? You would probably enjoy it, socialising with the staff and such. Even if it doesn't turn out well, you'll have gained the experience of working outside (Which is great in a CV!) whether good or bad, having work experience is a good thing.
Your dad is probably too over-protective, not that it's not good but you'll become independant one day, so just take your chance now and learn new stuff.

Good luck with everything in life <3

how could i not remember you? in fact, I've had a feeling that you'll be the only one to reply this post. :)
I went to the interview yesterday, and got accepted. But the company requires me to move out of this island so it's a total rejection from my dad. He actually looked pleased when he saw the office, since it was a big company. :( I'm just depressed lately. Thanks for noticing.

Lol ^^; Well as long as I'm not bothering you or anything =)

Huh? You mean your dad rejected the job for you even though you got it? o.O;;
What does your mother say though?

Well, I hope you feel better soon <3 Can't say I understand how you feel or not (Such a similar situation for me would be my mother wanting me to go and do something outside but sort of want you to stay at home and help out instead and assuming you've nothing better to do at home when there's tons of things I could do/enjoy.)
All I can say is stay strong and live your own life for yourself ^^

just this afternoon my dad repeated how life isn't easy, there're a lot of bad guys around the world, etc...
really, sometimes i wonder whether he wants me to be ready or to be too afraid to take a step outside. He keeps insisting that he says those horrible things so i can be prepared for a life outside, but how am i supposed to when my thoughts are filled with how ugly and terrible this world is?
I'd like to keep my mind clean and positive but he won't allow me to. Now i've become too depressed to try anything. it's really frustrating. >_
