Provide a short summary at the beginning that says what it is.
Say what people did in period.
Say what you did.
Say why you did things differently than people in period did. "They used linen or wool for this outfit. Due to cost constraints, I'm using a linen-cotton blend." "Period pigments were made of X and Y, but those chemicals are toxic, so I've used modern gouaches."
Talk about materials, construction, techniques, what it would be used for, when it would be used, etc.
Have a bibliography (preferably including books, not just the internets)
What if I have not constructed something? I'm actually dancing as my entry. I would like to include research I have done on period etiquette (particularly in the context of court dancing). Should I just write up the research as if it is a class paper?
Are you dancing for your entry, or writing a research paper on etiquette as your entry?
If dancing, talk about various steps that are part of it, what kind of music it would have been done to, why you're using the music that you're using (and what similarity it has/doesn't have to medievally produced music, like different instruments, etc.), what kind of contexts it would have been danced in, etc.
If a class paper, write just like a standard research paper.
