Some Earth spiders have such a venom but the ones Doctor Crane has are harmful only to other insects.

She's creepy. I don't know why she's a warden, I think she'd drink all our blood if she had the chance. Or turn us into vampires.

Well, I think it's misinformed, but it might be an act of generosity on my part.

She seems a lot of bluster to me, Adric. She hasn't done anything as far as I can see.

Well...yes, but she reminds me a lot of the vampires the Doctor and I ran into before we came to the Barge with how she talks and acts.

But you're right. She must be all talk if she's allowed to stay a Warden.
