He gave him an incredulous look. "You haven't asked questions about the nature of this place?"

"Of course I have, but there are lots of questions you could be wondering about this place. How are we traveling through various dimensions so quickly and apparently carelessly without causing damage to the walls of reality? Are floods really accidents? Why do we keep ending up as people from wherever we go when we go to port? Are the animals in the CES transported here, or created using Block Transfer Computation? I was just wondering what questions you had."

"Which did you want to start with? I've heard T'Pol was doing research on floods, maybe you could work with her some of the week, and then work with me on one of the other questions some of the week, and answer two at a time! I know a lot about Block Transfer Computation and would like to test some theories on the things in the CES, because I know there's more to them than merely a hard hologram."

"It'll be fun, though. Especially if you work with T'Pol, she's very smart." Adric's voice takes a dreamy tone upon mentioning the woman he'd developed a crush on during his time here.
