It has been ages

....since I updated this thing. As everyone knows Sebastian did finally come out in the end last August. And it has been a whirlwind ever since. Dave and I survived the first 3 months of our son's life without hardly any sleep. And to top it off Sebastian has not been the healthiest of babies. He was born with jaundice and we spent the first 3 days ( Read more... )

Thanks. :D But, you will see him in the flesh in a bit over a month. We are staying at the same hotel as last time - across from Wet and Wild (Best Western Movieland). Our friend could not come due to financial reasons and he had to cancel his plane ticket. He was due some royalties from a record company, but the company is having financial problems and not paying anyone. He is gutted he could not come and was quite upset.

My dad is due to arrive in Orlando on the 4th. And my mom wants to go to Seaworld. Are you and Ben up for it? :D

Wow! Thanks for the tickets!!! We arrive on 5 May and leave on 19 May. Let me know the days you are off and then we will all go to Seaworld. We are also talking about Ybor Castle as my mom's friend said she would babysit Sebastian at my mother's place. Are you and Ben up for that? We have not been out in ages. Now, if only I could lose another 28 pounds I can get into one of my old dresses.

Glad to hear things are going well! I am down in the London area quite regularly to see my boyfriend [remember beardy Ted from Liepzig ;-) ? ] - if you're thinking of getting back into a bit of clubbing it'll be great to catch up with you and Dave.

Heya!!! We will not be going out until after August...and as long as I drop the rest of this weight so I can fit into my old clothes. :D I heard you and Ted got together. I am not surprised at all.

But, if you are down in London let me know. I am on maternity leave and can meet up with you. If it is during the week Dave can meet up after work. Do you have our numbers?

I think I still have Dave's, so yes when I get organised enuff to actually come into london itself (Ted lives on the outskirts), will organise a meet with people.

I'm sorry to hear Sebastian's had so many illnesses, I thought he was doing a lot better when I last saw you three (December?) but hope things are all moving in the right direction now :)

He has been sick on and off. I think the longest he has gone without catching something is 2 weeks. At one point he was given an asthma pump when he had bronchiolitis. He is like me when I was a child...catching everything under the sun. But, now that he is seeing a specialist and homeopath we are hoping he will get better and stronger.

It certainly has been ages! I rarely have time for LJ or anything else for that matter. Sebastian keeps me on the go now that he is crawling and getting into everything. Are you still in Ethiopia??

Ha! I remember seeing my two Godsons at that age, they knacker you out! If you're trying to lose the weight they're guaranteed to help :D

Been sneak-peeking the journal have we? ;) Yeah I'm still here. A post is well overdue, especially considering that I've been on holiday and now am responding to a cholera crisis at the moment which has been fascinating. Only another 2 months to go and then I'll have to get another job ;)

He does wear me out. And we are stuck in our bedroom (all 3 of us) while an extension is being built. That has been a fiasco and a half. I definitely will post something about that. The first set of builders were so bad that the building inspector's office were considering prosecution against them for contravening the building regulations! And Cowboy Builders have shown an interest in our story. So, we have been in our room for 2 months and with a crawling baby. Such fun.

And yes, I have been snooping through your journal! I have not been on LJ for ages. Do you have Myspace or Facebook?

It does sound as though you have an interesting life over there right now. What sort of job will you be looking for?
