You know who you are. It doesn't matter whether or not I ever intended to use the OC; it was my intellectual property -- perhaps this is a difficult concept for you to grasp. Plagarism is such an ugly word, but it is exactly what you've done. Cease and desist immediately. This is NOT a joke.

I wrote a snippet about an OC which was intended as a sarcastic lambast at the people who constantly complain that OCs are Mary Sues. I held a discussion with several HL fans who objected to my characterizing my own OC as a dullard. Today I found out that these people have created an LJ community using my OC's name and reposting my snippet without permission or my knowledge.

I have now locked the original LJ entry -- it had been open up to now.

These people are now writing stories about my OC without ever telling me what was going on and certainly without asking permission. I am angry with such childish behavior and want it stopped. I have already left a comment in their community and have posted this as another general warning.
