I don't even bother posting my fic to lj these days. I put it on the AO3 with a link and leave it be

I may have to start doing that, but I do like it being archived in more than one place, just in case. And I know that not everyone likes reading on AO3.

Ah, well. I've posted the AO3 link. I'll give it a few days and try again and if it still doesn't work, I'll give up and post the AO3 link to the comms (not that anyone from the comms is really interested since it's not Drake/King, but I live in hope of meeting other Abby/King fans :D)

I will go read on AO3! LJ has been consistently unpredictable for me for most of this year. I don't post in my journal, but I comment or send PMs most days and I'm always getting errors.

I always think of you as someone who reads on AO3 anyway, probably because that's where we first met :D And, yeah, LJ is being a pain, as per. Which is annoying, because on the one hand I'd like to be able to post to the comms but feel reluctant when I haven't actually archived it on LJ, but on the other hand, posting to comms sort of results in nothing but crickets, so is it a big loss?

I guess I'm just a completist.

They both have their advantages, I like LJ because it's easier to comment on a specific part (but that's just because I usually download the whole thing from AO3 and read without chapters).

I get what you mean about wanting to post to each site, it just seems neater.
