I almost wish that I was going to college here in NYC. For some reason, I'm at my happiest when I'm in this city. Often times, my mood soars when I'm here and drops significantly when I leave the city. I wish that I could stay here for the rest of the summer. Manhattan makes me feel at home. The place that my school is in, Amherst, Massachusetts, is more of a town than a city. I wasn't there for very long when I went to visit the school, but it seems to be a lot like my current town in NJ--mostly highway. Since A)It's seemingly really similar to my current town and B)I'll have access to free buses from my school to take me around campus, I'm hoping that it won't be very difficult to adjust.
Boston will be a little over an hour away from me--about the same distance that Manhattan is from me, now. You went to Boston to visit a friend, right? Did you like it there?

I've heard of Amherst before. :o That's really lucky that you have free buses to take you around town, you'll have to take good advantage of that. ^_~ I've been to Boston twice and I LOVE it there. It's such an old and historic and beautiful city. Harvard Square especially is a place to visit. ^^
