Yugioh Fic: Greatest Wish (YamixYugi)

I was reading some of my Yugioh manga today and got to thinking about the puzzle and Yami's psycho attitude in the beginning. I also wanted an excuse to reunite the lovebirds.

And puzzle/Yugi is so delightfully twisted. ^___^

I like this new take on Puzzleshipping! =D I've never thought about their relationship this way before.
I also like how Yami was 'nice' at the beginning/before Yuugi solved the Puzzle, and then he compromised himself to achieve his ultimate goal - it's quite IC of him, because he needs Yuugi to balance out his character.
The ending was satisfyingly good. 8) - That they were reunited and that it came back to the Puzzle...and it did something good for both of them. :3

A few spelling/grammatical errors, but nothing major at all. ^^

^__^ Sankyuu. You're so nice and I'm really glad you liked it. I agree about him needing Yugi to balance him, as you can see I kind of touched on it in the reverse in this.

As for the errors, just point them out if you don't mind and I'll fix it. I spell checked it and read over it, but since I wrote this at 3am there are likely still mistakes. ^__^;

it's = short for "it is"
its = possessive, meaning "belonging to it"

Other than that, this is a really great short story that very well explains the very drastic personality shift we see in Yami no Yuugi. Hooray!

Man, it's been a while since I read this, but lsdkjf AWESOME AS THE FIRST TIME I READ IT. I love the idea of the Puzzle being this 3rd party Atem/Yami and Yuugi don't quite realize. I also love the idea of Atem having his memories until Yuugi solved the Puzzle and their souls linked (though. that def came back to bit him in the ass rofl oh yami).

Hey again! It's nice to hear from you. I'm so glad you enjoyed it enough to re-read it. That's the real test for a fic and I'm so happy it passed.

It always bothered me that Bakura remembered everything but Yami didn't. Yami wasn't a weak person so there had to be a reason. That and the fact that everyone always writes as though the puzzle and all the powers of the shadow realm have nothing to do with Yugi other than having needed to use him for a short time are the seeds that became this story.

One of these days I would like to come back to this story and really expand on it in a sequel. A nice multi parter so I can really explore the relationships between Yugi, Yami, and the puzzle. Well, and to make them have yummy telepathic sex!
