I just got back from watching the third movie and it is AMAZING! I admit, the relationships were a bit... convoluted... at times, but there were plenty of Jack/Will, Will/Elizabeth, and even Jack/Will/Elizabeth moments for everyone

Bravo for writing so quick! I just came back from the movie meself. =) I'm dying to see what fic will turn up. Of course, being a die-hard J/W fan, I'm rather anxious for fic fulfillment since the movie is quite overwhelmingly Will/Lizzy. That's okay, that's what's expected.

I was pretty impressed, pretty satisfied. Thought some things were just too damn weird and could have been done ten times better, but I had similar moments in the other movies as well. =)

My biggest problem? ;;_;; Norrington's dead! *wails*

I don't think of it as being mostly Will/Liz, I see it as Elizabeth and Jack finally learning how to share Will. *waves a small J/W/E flag to go with her usual J/W*.

And personally, I think Will only married Elizabeth so she wouldn't be jealous of his being Jack's commonlaw wife. Those two spent a long time together on the Interceptor, so I'm sure they qualify. *is hopeful*

And I'm looking forward to some good long fic for this one, too. I'm actually working on one right now. A POTC/Anita Blake x-over that will beither J/W, or possibly J/W/E, in which Jack, Will, and Elizabeth are immortal. Elizabeth is a master vampire that rules over her city with an iron fist and Jack, also a vamp, lives with Will on the Dutchman now that real piracy is over.

*g* I can totally see Elizabeth as an immortal queen. I'm quite happy to say that this movie made up for her character last film. I still have my iffy points this film, but in the scheme of things I can't remember much of it now. lol. She was made to be a captain, work on rounding the pirates together, etc. With the relationship troubles, she finally seems less of a Mary-Sue, too, which I think is the best part. =3

I have to admit, I hated Elizabeth in the first movie, kinda liked her in the second (I like the manipulative ones, which explains my love for Jack)...

And think she totally rocks in this one. *grins*

I just got back from seeing the movie myself and I must say that this was awsome and I had the same thoughts as these at that particular scene.

*grin* The moment I got home I made a beeline for my computer. This baby was stewing in my mind from the moment the scene came on in the theater.

And yeah, I am considering continuing. I'll probably have another part of it up tomorrow. I gotta get my boys together, now, don't I? ^__^

BTW, am I the only one who squeed when Barbossa dropped the fancy diction in the council chambers and just spoke with that darling pirate slang and accent?

I think he's great, too! Barbossa was awesome in the third film, I actually liked him & he was totally entertaining :D

And you know, I think I am officially the first person to write fanfic for this movie after it's release. Go me. ^__^

Great, you wrote such a nice piece of fiction so soon after watching the movie. One of the first discussions I had with the friend I've watched it together was about what the FF authors will do with it. I think there are so many opportunities even for the poor Norrington fans...

I'm currently working on another missing scene from the movie. The one in which Will comes back to life after having his heart cut out. I hope to have it up later tonight.

And as for James. Poor, misguided James... *sigh* I'll miss him. *sob*
