Birthday, Graphic Art and The Hobbit

Jobless
I have some unfortunate news to report. As of two Thursdays ago, I am jobless. My newspaper is losing several of its subscriptions and could no longer afford to keep me on staff, so I am in the process of looking for a new place of employment. Daily Accomplishments
I am very proud of myself. Yesterday I have managed to finish copious projects and errands off my To-Do List. My dear husband is sick so I’m stuck doing his house chores as well as my own. Cat Fiasco
Yesterday was Matt’s day off so I scheduled a 4:15PM veterinary appointment for our cat Snickers since she was due for her annual checkup and shots. I expected that Matt would not have too much difficulty getting the cat loaded in her crate and sent to the vet. She is, after all, a very sweet and usually gentle cat. I love being married! Life has been both quiet and busy lately. My husband started working for a local company about two weeks ago, so we are still getting used to his work schedule.
