Me, too! I was happy that Mom was able to give me that update, because I'd never heard that part before. I just remember her saying the gulls were the last of their kind in the state.

Was it Little Egg Harbor or Great Egg Harbor? Inquiring minds want to know! (I used to visit Motts Creek on Great Bay every summer). I was definitely drawn in, because of my own attachments to south Jersey.

I'm not sure. I'd imagine whichever one is closer to Stone Harbor, since my mom told me that the update she got on the fate of the seagulls came from going to the nature center I linked to at the beginning of this story.
