Jan 24, 2013 19:15

This is my entry this week for the Exhibit A competition of therealljidol. I invite you to read and vote for the many fine entries. This week's topic is "Am I Crazy?"

Maybe if I try it again, it will be different... )

nice peace and it highlights a major problem with body issues.
Muscle is heavier then fat so it is possible to loose inchs with out looseing pounds.
That is important to remember - you can be 50 lbs over "Ideal" with out actually being fat.

Thanks! Of course, I think the people who are 50 pounds over the "ideal" weight and not considered fat are those who are much more muscular than I am. But I've always tended to have "heavy bones," as they say. :)

Sometimes consistency is exasperating. Especially when the consistent results are the ones we don't want.

How about it? In a way, though, it's better than getting that result I wanted on a second (or third) reading, since that way I don't risk becoming complacent.

I've been there too. Down a few pounds one week, up the next. Dieting is the most frustrating thing EVER!

Oh, I hate that! For the past two years, it seems like I would lose 2 to 4 pounds a month only to put it back on. It was as regular as clockwork. This is the first month since I first came home from the hospital that I expect to enter the next month down by a noticeable margin.

I like how you didn't directly say the topic in your entry.

Good luck with your weight loss plan

You know, I try not to do that unless I can find a way to work it in seamlessly. It's in response to some GR comments I read once, where a bunch of people agreed that they prefer entries that aren't too obvious.

Thanks for the good wishes!

That nasty scale! It can be dangerous to trust it. Trust those loose pants!

That's right, it's the scale's fault! Mean, nasty scale! :)

In happier news, I went jeans shopping today, and I didn't even have to shop in the Plus department, for the first time since having KFP.

My toddler and I were dancing around the dressing room (although I doubt he understood why Mommy was so happy).
