I had a feeling that's how people might be treated for something like that. I doubt I would put up with that bs at an audition. I'm sorry it was such a disheartening experience for Katie, but I hope she is strengthened by it, too.

She's a tough chick. As I tried to portray in the article, it didn't kill her spirit.

Katie really does have a great voice. I've known her for several years now and heard her sing too many times to count. She has a great vocal range, a wonderful repertoire of songs that she sings. For her to be treated like that was terrible but knowing Katie, she'll just use it to fuel something else. =0)

Though I've know her for years, too, I've never heard her sing. I'll definitely ask for a performance next time I see her in person.
