This is my home-game entry for The Real LJ Idol. I am not competing this season but invite you to read the many fine submissions and the home-game entries. Topic number 19 is an open topic, which means we can write about anything.

A 13 year old actor who works with my company a lot has a facebook page with well over 100 friends. He keeps looking at me like I've grown another head when I tell him I'm not on facebook. Things move so fast.

That's too funny! Of course, by the time our son is old enough to do Facebook, it will probably be considered passe.

Haha this is funny...and likely not too far off from what will soon become reality!

Very true. Hopefully, we'll get at least a few years where he thinks we're the best parents ever.

LMAO... this is too funny. I love the thought mail/email exchange. I really do wonder what the future generations will have in the place of all of these incredible things that we just seem to take for granted. I remember growing up before the internets... when people actually used to... gasp... write letters! lol...

I think that yes, your children will be embarrassed by you for a time... it's the circle of life I suppose... but they'll eventually circle back around to seeing just how cool or un-square you are. :-)

That's the hope. I know that's what happened with me and my parents!

I remember writing so letters, but I'm so out of practice that my wrist kills me when I write anything longhand any more.
