That certainly is an interesting list! I'd forgotten all about Supertramp; I used to like them a lot. That ancient Breakfast in America album [yes, album!] was a real favourite of mine.

And I totally approve of the inclusion of David Bowie and Nine Inch nails! I'll be trying this out soon myself!

I have so much Bowie it's actually a surprise he didn't come up more than once. The Supertramp song is on one of my fave soundtracks, "Magnolia," which is mostly Aimee Mann music. I have a lot of compilation disks, such as "pop songs from the '70s" or "classic rock hits" as well as albums by just one artist. That's where the Barbara Streisand song comes from. Although she's one artist I should probably get a full album for, since she's such a cool woman and a great singer.
