Most definitely! And maybe I can wear my new glasses! Unfortunately I don't think I'll be available until April :/
As for watchmen, have you ever read the book? I think I just found a lot more depth in the book than they could ever hope to get into a movie. Plus I didn't care for some of the characterization and the general approach to the movie (too comicbook like)
I read the graphic novel literally right before the movie as in I finished it that day. I loved the novel and plan to read it again as soon as I get another copy (I lent mine to my secretary). I am hopelessly obsessed with Rorschach. I even made a cracky Rorschach/Dan vid with bad footage. *sigh*
All in all, I really enjoyed the movie too. It's a different medium so it can't deliver what the novel can. I can see how some of the characters were a bit too comicbook (e.g., Nite Owl II was a bit too buff), but I still loved it. And you have to admit that they nailed Rorschach. We'll chat soon...
I've been meaning to comment on this... First of all, your face in that picture makes me LOL.
Secondly, have you picked a pair of glasses yet? Because, if so, then yes, I would have suggested the pair you bought. But, if not, I think you should consider some big, hip roundish glasses, with thick plastic frames on top and a lack of frame on the bottom... I think you could pull that sort of look off. The end.
