Regarding how the scene ends, I agree that it could use a little more. Just something to wrap it up a bit. Do they sit down in companionable silence to await the results? Do they sit and think about all the things they want to know about each other but don't know how to bring up? Does Charles stay and Erik go do his own waiting ritual? Where does it go from there?
