so I'm thinking about quitting hot topic...

I am averaging 15 hours a week
(which is after I've ganked shifts off other people)
it doesn't pay me as much as I need
(especially for how few hours I get)
the shifts are generally in the middle of the day or closing shifts
eliminating the opportunity to actually do anything during the remaining hours

we might be moving to ohio soon, depending on if matt takes the job.
and I'm going on the extensive roadtrip vacation all of june.
so, after going into the store to quit, I somehow left still employed
because I've got these huge balls but no backbone to hold them up :)
so, as of today, I'm atleast still getting a paycheck
to help pay for the aforementioned extensive roadtrip vacation.

seriously, I go in there all ready to quit
and now I have to go in for my shift tonight...
I wonder about myself sometimes.

Retail does suck. I hated working at Hot Topic. It sounds like the problem is more their problem than yours. You're doing your job, you know? I say fuck them. But suggest finding another job first so you're not left moneyless. Or just stick it out until your road trip and then quit before you leave. Find a new job when/if you come back.
