He'd changed his clothes six or seven times before deciding on his usual black shirt and jeans combo he tended to favour when he was 'off duty'. He smiled walking over offering a nervous wave "Sorry, am I late?" he asked as he lent in to give her cheek a light kiss.

"Not at all! And if you were it'd be fashionably late," she handed him a menu after returning the kiss, "How are you? It's been... It's been forever!" She grinned, going back to fidgeting with the napkin.

He smiled as he took his seat absently toying with the menu a moment. "It's been far too long- I was right. You're still as beautiful as you were..."

She smiled, looking down then back at him, "And you're just as sweet. Maybe I'll skip desert and have you instead."
