Basically that sums it up my reaction to the whole chapter.

I like the friendship between Natasha and Maria too. Maria even manages to see that Natasha is in love with Clint.

It's impossible to me that Maria and Natasha are NOT friends...they're both extremely self contained strong women in what appeared to be a male dominated shadowy multi national security organization. Birds of a feather flock together.
