I stayed home from work today which really bummed me out because I love work and I miss the kids. But I am getting over a stomach flu that the doctor i saw yesterday told me was very contagious. All the parents and teachers are thanking me that 86 kids will not be throwing up or having diarrhea thanks to me. So you see, I'm a hero.

I have to be at work at 8 tomorrow morning, I live 35 minutes away and right now I'm babysitting in the town I work in for people who told me they probably wouldn't be later than 10. Why are people so inconsiderate.

Tomorrow is my 8 to 5:30 work day followed by babysitting for two girls until 10. I'm pretty sure it's going to be the longest day ever ( Read more... )

My sister and her husband are saving money, having just bought a house, so aside from NBC, CBS and the two other channels we get thanks to an antenna, we don't have tv so I didn't get to see the Emmys last night but I am BEYOND thrilled to hear that Kyle Chandler won and so, so excited for him. My new phone is a Verizon iPhone and I'm in love with it. I had one with AT&T two years ago but I left AT&T for the awful service and at the time I couldn't afford the monthly bill. On top of how awesome the phone is, I can also tether it to my computer and use the Internet that way which is pretty sweet.
