Angst is good. Though I tend to do it better when a character dies for some reason. Most of my angsty fic are Max/White. Yes I ship them. I know it's weird. For whatever reason, my muse loves to kill Max. Stupid muse!

A lot of shows tend to be heavy on the angst, so reading a happy-go-lucky fic just doesn't seem...in character, I suppose. Which is the main reason why I prefer the angst. And character death definitely brings the angst.
