11am yesterday we have a meeting. "April is moving out of ECF. She will be a subject matter expert but she will not be filing unless required." This is good. More than once my boss impresses upon my two replacements (yup apparently it takes two people to do my one job) they have to take over my duties entirely and are responsible for doing the job

your work ACCIDENTALLY foreclosed on someone's house!? (Im an admin lawyer I find that outrageous!)

Yup. We're a bankruptcy law firm. To their own fault the home owners waited until the last day to send in their payment but still it was our fault that it got signed for yet not applied to their account asap.
