This is so lovely. I love City of Angels and when I started reading I was afraid this story was going to go that route - I'm so glad you left them together, happy, *alive*. The emotions you captured in this piece were so real and wonderfully written. Great job, and thanks for sharing!

This made me all gooey inside. I love that Dean was the angel and Cas the human, and I loved your decription of Cas through Dean's eyes in the beginning, about how he was longing for someone to fill that hole in his chest. It broke my heart. The ending made me happy, happy, though, and the result it goo. :)
