Louis sits in the main room of the mansion before the fireplace, a book in hand. Though the weather has begun to warm, Louis still finds it too cool for his liking; the immortal chill never fully satisfied when the evenings have long since begun to cool from the waning heat of the midday. Lestat enters the mansion looking a bit worn and none too thrilled about moving back in, even if it is supposed to be only for a night or two. He walks from the entrance hall to the main room and is surprised, and a bit unnerved, to see an all too familiar individual sitting before the fire. He freezes, not quite sure if he should say something or attempt to creep past him unnoticed.

Another page is turned, and delicate eyebrows draw together as he continues to read a particularly titillating passage of great drama.

It's not the presence of another vampire that draws his attention, as he is, of course, unable to discern when his maker is near. The soft crush of carpet underfoot, however, does cause him to look up, surprised momentarily that something exists outside of his novel - then doubly surprised when he sees who it is.

"..... Lestat."

Having been caught he really has no choice now of what to do. He makes his way over to the other vampire and sits on the arm of the chair across from him. "Louis," he flashes him a smile, "Good to see you."

"Is it?" Louis shuts his book. "Ah, but I must ask myself, 'is it good to see him?', and I must tell you, Lestat - I do not yet know."
