Oops... I missed this Saturday. Not that I really have anything left to come out about, but from my point of view making myself visible is always good, and my thinking about who I am has definitely become clearer over the years

Poly, I'm a slut but I tend to go more for monogamy because jealousy and the logistics of stds just make multiple partners not worth the problems that come with 'em.

I see the point about the word "bisexual" implying two genders. But to me, "pansexual" implies you'll fuck anything, which is one of the worst stereotypes we face, so I like it even less. I also don't fancy -all- genders. For instance, I'm not really into "men" or "women" ;)

Still trying to work out whether poly is the way I am or situationally/opportunistically poly. When I first heard about poly it seemed like a great way to still get to date girls when I was in a relationship. I couldn't really see a need to date more than one person of the same gender. But I've since discovered that it really depends on how much time that person has to spend with me. If I'm involved with someone fantastic, but I'm only getting to see them every couple of weeks at best, then poly is a solution. I too am not possessive and insist only on "be safe and be honest" (though I'd also add "don't be a dick"), so poly is mostly working... however having someone I don't have to share, to any perceptible extent, is a really fucking nice change. So we'll see.
