Warsaw again!

I'm happy to tell you I recently made a small trip to Warsaw. I saw a Polish version of "Kinky Boots" and participated in Equality Parade, all on the same day. Here are some photos.

I wanted to ask what did you have rainbow colored with yourself, but okay, if you didn't know, you're justified. XD (Unless you actually had something by accident? :)

I came outrageously unprepared, but I had a rainbow in my heart and a smile on my face. No one told me to go away :)

I see an untapped potential of ideas for next years: giving small flags around; a stall where you can get a rainbow makeup... And someone should start a fashion for live rainbows - flower wreaths and bouquets!

I read on Facebook there was a place where you could come earlier, but we had other plans. Maybe they were giving/selling flags then. I second the idea of giving away flags during the parade, too :)

That's a great idea!

Last year I happened to be in the inner city when the pride parade walked by. But I found it loud and noisy and it was not my kind of music played, I don't really like those hard beats. So I was just watching, instead of celebrating with them.

I would have enjoyed it more if there had been more people at the street side, cheering on, you know? So you get into the mood? But there were only a few elderly tourists that wanted to see the touristic sights and they looked very puzzled ;)

Since aletheiafelinea asked, I did not have a flag with me, but I have a small rainbow flag that I bought in London in the bookshop where they filmed the "Pride" movie (still haven't seen it, my friend told me about it and the shop).

I even have a "No Hate" shirt with John Barrowman's face on it that I bought for such occasions but felt too shy to wear it.

The play sounds awesome! I enjoy plays so much. Sitting in a dark room, watching real people singing and dancing on stage - there is nothing better.

I've seen "Pride", and I liked it. I thought I couldn't see Andrew Scott as someone other than Moriarty, but after few minutes, I only saw his character. I shouldn't be surprised, everyone says he's a brilliant actor.

You know, there's another equality march tomorrow, in a city near my place and I want to go, and I see now I'm copletely unprepared. Where are shops with rainbow flags when they're needed? :) I hope I'll get something there. Also, I hope nothing bad happens - it's a first march in a city considered as ultra-catholic and surely there will be protests.

Oh, I enjoy plays more and more. I think this year I've been to theatre more often than I've been to cinema! Watching movies is great, but watching actors performing in the same room is wonderful. Even if you have to make a small trip, it's worth it.
