this is brilliant, honey, pure poetry in every word.. i adore your dawn and this whole set up is absolutely amazing.. and can i just say i love you forever now cuz of the life you gave xander and buffy? *sobs* but yeah.. angels demon, too? dammnn that was intense and wow and yeah

Thanks! I'm so gald you liked it. I have to admit, though, it lost some of its impact for me, because I've been staring at it, editing, revising, and it's all rote now.

But I'm glad it worked. I REALLY wanted to ell a Dawn/Angel story that wasn't all hearts and flowers and I'm chuffed to see that it worked.

This is a beautiful story ...... *sigh* so lovely and poignant ....Angel is so broken over the death of his family and I can so see this as a response that he would take to such an overwhelming loss....

I got some beta remarks about EVERYBODY being dead, but I thought it was the only way to get Angel into the place I needed him to be. I'm pleased the risk paid off.
