Day 29 - to where Have you traveled.

I have not been a good traveler. I've been all over the state of Florida. All over, from tip to stern. Been all the way west to Pensacola, east to Jacksonville and everywhere in between. As far north as Jasper, as far south as Marathon Key. Tampa, Daytona, Sarasota, Ft. Pierce, Ft. Myers. I've been up and down several rivers in the state, seen

Oh my! That sounds like a wonderful road trip! You need to do that again.

My parents loved to travel and we went all over the US when I was a kid. One summer my mother, my grandmother and I drove from Denver to Maine. My grandmother had never been out of the state and I love that she got the chance to see the ocean at least once.

I took my kids on as many road trips as I could afford when they were younger and it's nice that now they're older they tell me that they appreciate it. They can say they've been to Yellowstone and Mount Rushmore, all over Wyoming and Colorado. (and Kansas, of course)

I'm one of those road~trippers that stops at every road side attraction. We've seen some really weird stuff. :)

(also, the river that flows through the royal gorge is the Arkansas river, not the Colorado river. just fyi. The RG is my favorite place on earth and it kills me that it's closed now. being repaired and hopefully will be open next spring/summer again. *pines* i love it sooooooo much.)

I would love to do a road trip this summer, but I've started my Master's and the schedule is way freakin' tight. I'll have to see what days I have available and where I can go in that time. I'd love to go back to CO.
