Korea has a new year tradition of donating to the needy. We all tend to do that. But there's something new catching on over there - donating your skills. People are donating by teaching calligraphy or dance or whatever to people who want to learn. 1 class, 10 classes, etc. I hope this spreads.

In sadder news my mother's town has put up a display of 26 little wood silouette angels in honor of the shooting victims. Everyone seems to be wearing green n white ribbons. A large prayer candle was left at my door with a note instructing to please light it in their memory. Which is nice, but slightly creepy.

I can not tell you how desperately I am NOT looking forward to the meeting tomorrow 3 hours before my work day starts. lus, you know, IDIOTS AT WORK. AND ZOG ZOG ZOG. ;)

I feel you forget about me in the time between my posts. Which is your perrogative.

I have a date. New Year's Eve. To give you an idea of how long it has been since I've done the 'date' thing - I did not realize what this means. Okay, so I'm a little slow.

I have to think about my behavior at the holiday get-together. Not the best, I suspect.

Athiests ain't got no songs...! (still in my head)

Let's see, what was my haul this year? A teapot shaped like a cat holding a screaming mouse. A blue cotton sweater. A costume jewelry ring from my niece. A black n white tote bag. A glass holiday platter. Oh and a gift card to Bed, Bath and Beyond. A somewhat delicate flower pin.

From ME: A pair of black shoes. (I've tons, but these are comfy-ish.) A pair of black bootie shoes with a thin strip of animal print around the tops. (Hey, all my black heels are peep-toes and it is cold out!) A large sunburst suit-jacket pin in black with grey pearls. A big suit-jacket pin sparkly silver bow (for the holidays.) A pair of suit-able black leather gloves. A haircut. 3 CDs; hawaiian music, jazz piano, and an audio mystery.
And three ties.

Now if I can just get back the $600 stolen from me by the credit card fraud...

I am PROcrastinating. Like whoa. This holiday season I feel like I am focusing on my faults. Many faults. I am struggling to work on them. I'm better with owning and accepting them. (Witness the orocrastination.)
I'm supposed to be going out. I'm supposed to be writing.
I did get my business emails out. I am hiding a certain piece of information from a business associate, but that is a decision I made. I've yet to send a christmas card. I'm a pro.
I need to do one or the other...
