I am LOVING the weather at the moment. Bright, warm sun edging into hot, the sunglasses and summer dresses are getting some use, finally! We had a very wet spring, I am glad to get to do some basking.

I watched The Avengers yesterday! It was awesome. Also, good to hear that you are writing (even a little bit) because I just spent a year not-writing and after summer, I will have no time to write, what with AP classes and stuff. In fact, I think I spent this entire year just reading fanfic and watching BBC shows online. Oh, well.

I LOVE THE AVENGERS. I might go for a fourth time soon. It was just so many of my favourite things all together omg YES.

Well, there are worse ways you could have spent the year! I think I am slowly - oh so slowly - reminding myself that I like storytelling. Which is fairly exciting.

Yay for Avengers and Eurovision and the awesomeness of Turkey. These things are all good things and I am still sad Turkey didn't win because I didn't care about Sweden's song even a tiny bit. Though I am glad nobody's economy is going to completely fail because of winning. That's a good thing.

I'm glad the writing is going well! I appreciate the ponderings you're having on high vs. urban fantasy, it is a thing I have thought about a lot because man worldbuilding is hard but then also writing the real world is hard because you have to figure out ways to make things work within the real world as well where you have rigid physics and geography and stuff already in place. So yes. Alternate reality sounds awesome. ;)

I thought Sweden's song was OK, pretty much like the other Swedish pop that makes it over here. Turkey is totally my favourites but I wasn't angry or embarrassed that Sweden won. Mainly glad that someone beat the Russian grannies, oh my goddess, that could have been really embarrassing for all of us. But yes it is good that a rich and stable country won. One with a decent human rights record! Even if they are terribly racist. Oh well ( ... )
