As to your Boss getting veges locally grown, it seems on the rise here for markets to sell produce from market gardens quite regularly, there's even one in the middle of the city on Wednesdays that a lot of my coworkers go to.

I'm not very good naming veges but even I can usually tell what they are :) The newest discovery was a custard apple, I'd never seen one before. *scratches his head*

Custard apple is a tropical thing and not very common here either. It has other names, including "bull's heart" and "cherimoya." I've tried it once when it was offered by a Puerto Rican friend who knew how to get the seeds out of it, but it made no great impression on me.
