Since the end of exam period is nearly upon us, that means that the semi-long awaited game of Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri may finally be organized. For those who are interested but somewhat in the dark about this adventure, there is a plan to run a 7 player game over the internet. Also Laura and possibly Graeme are up for it (both experienced players)

Cannon fodder - Unlikely, since if anyone masses troops to take you out, that is likely leaving some of their other bases under-defended.

Considering how little I've played the game, and that my strategic abilities are no better than human norm, it wouldn't take much of a troop diversion, believe me.

I would also be willing to take a Cannon Fodder postition, though it has been a few years since I played Alpha Centauri and even my Civilisation skills are below par, so I'd quite understand if the position was given to a better.
