*g* - it's always McD's for me. They always call to ask -'want me to bring fries and hot apple pies?' like I'd ever say no :)
ALso, recently got into the cooking thing in a huge way, and actually made bread (in a toaster oven *g*) - and it was a shock to see the internet site I visit the most now is Cooks.com. Plus, I find Nigella's cooking the easiest to duplicate - pancetta garlic linguine is so good, one of my faves, and so easy too.
Not so drunk anymore :DalternateyouOctober 21 2006, 08:58:45 UTC
hmmm hot apple pies from MccyDs. That and the non-fizzy orange fanta are the only things i like from there... but they are gorgeous :D
Same here with the cooking... i got a bread machine and love making sun-dried tomato bread. it is so nice, especiaslly when still hot, broken into chunks.
I like Nigellas food, but I find the woman grates on my nerves (still got her books though :D )

I'm all envy over the drink - I'm on a health stint and I'm just dying for a really good red. Or champagne. Or hell, beer *g*
I've been itching to get a breadmaker too, especially as some you can set a timer to so you wake up with the smell of fresh bread :) - sundried tomato bread! mmm.
And I think Asda or Tesco does this Mango and Cranberry bread which is just delicious. Smells heavenly when it's toasting.
I don't watch Nigella, except when I'm at my sis' who is as hooked on the cooking channel as you seem to be *g* - but yes, she is annoying. However, Jamie Oliver is worse - he's everywhere!

Yes the wake-up timer is really cool... and actually makes me get up on time... cause if you leave the bread in (even on keep-warm) it goes rather soggy
Jamie Oliver if funny... I like his stuff (ive even got a jamie oliver huge wooden chopping board :S) but i agree, watching him can be very annoying
