Already Coming Together!

 I have a great friend in Arizona who is a VERY active Republican.  A few weeks ago he gave me hope when he said he was having a hard time talking himself into voting for McCain.  I have the following from him today:

"I wanted to congratulate you and your candidate on the election last evening. It's truly the beginning of a wonderful new era now

Down here it feels like we ate a bag of great peanuts, but the last one was "off". Our homophobic "Prop 8" passed and everyone I know is stunned and surprised. They never thought it would pass. It really put a damper on what would have been a fantastic turn of events.

It's being fought already.

I saw the results on Prop 8 earlier today. I was shocked. I can't imagine that will last for long. It's just another proposition away from being overturned ("Yes we can!"), but what a monumental pain in the ass.

In the meantime, gObama, gObama, gObama... hehehe
